What is the EON Sports VR Channel

The EON Sports VR Channel is your ticket to the most exciting immersive Virtual Reality experiences, which take you behind the scenes with your favorite team. For the first time ever, experience what it’s like to be in the middle of the action with your favorite team by way of virtual reality.

The only thing better than seeing all of this in our VR channel is being there in person.

What type of experiences will I get to see?

Intended experiences include Football Game Day (behind the scenes, pre-game, in-game, and post-game) including some of your team’s best game day traditions as well as pre-game, in-game and post-game exclusive content for men’s and women’s sports where unique and VR appropriate content can be captured.

Where do I go to download the VR Channel?

You will be able to download your team’s VR Channel on the iTunes and Google Play store.

Can I use the VR Channel without a headset?

Yes you can, but the viewing experience will be poor. The cool thing about Virtual Reality is well….Virtual Reality!! And you need a headset to see the full experience in Virtual Reality. You can email us at info@eonrealitysportsvr.com and one of our support staff will be able to help you find the right headset.

How many experiences are in my VR Channel

The channel is available 24 hours a day, for 365 days of the year. You will get updated content regularly, providing you insider access of never before seen footage of your favorite team.

When does my subscription end?

Subscription is good through June 30, 2017. Your subscription will be automatically renewed on or about June 30, 2017 for the 2017-18 academic year.

How do I activate my subscription?

After ordering, a VR Cardboard headset, activation code, and instructions will be mailed to you on the date your order specified. Upon receiving the headset, you can download your team specific VR Channel on the iTunes store (iPhone) or the Google Play store (Android) and enter the activation code.

Once the team specific VR Channel is open, tap the VR button located in the upper right hand of the screen (this should turn your phone into a split screen), place your smartphone inside the headset for viewing and enjoy!

Should I wear headphones?

Audio is an important part of the experience. You should utilize your earbuds, headset or other quality speaker options for the best experience. Your phone’s built in audio is acceptable but not ideal for the full experience.

Does the code provide access to multiple devices?

Your access code will activate only one device. If you lose it please email support@eonrealitysportsvr.com.

Is this hard to operate?

What devices will the VR Channel work on?

The VR Channel is compatible with iOS and Android smartphones.
For Android: Minimum Samsung S5 or equivalent
Quad-core 2.5 GHz
2 GB RAM or higher
Android 4.4.4 or higher

For iOS: Minimum iPhone 6 or higher
iOS 8.4

When do I get my VR cardboard headset?

The first VR Channels launch in October of 2016, however, please look at the date your order page specifies.

Is the headset really cardboard? How good can it be?

The headsets are wildly popular with millions sold worldwide. They are easy to assemble, sturdy and provide an excellent virtual reality viewing experience.

When do I get my access code?

 After you subscribe, we will email you an access code and registration link.

How do I get a copy of my receipt?

You will be emailed a receipt upon purchase. If this is lost, or misplaced, please email us at info@eonrealitysportsvr.com and put “RECEIPT” in the subject line.

Can I use cellular data to stream and download content?

While it is possible to stream content with your a cellular data connection, it is strongly recommended that you use a Wi-Fi network as some of the file sizes can be fairly large.

You may be charged by your network provider for data services or any other third party charges as may arise while using certain features of the App and/or Licensed Content and you accept responsibility for such charges.

Our partners and EON Sports cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred from the use of the VR Channel.

Are there any safety concerns in using the VR Channel?

3D immersive viewing and VR Channels are only recommended for ages 10 or above. Adult supervision is recommended. Viewing 3D effects may cause epileptic seizures – if you have previously had seizures please consult with your doctor before use. Do not use while driving or while performing physical activities. Use only in a safe environment. Be sure your smartphone is inserted securely. Avoid extended use and take a break every 15-25 minutes. VR Smartphone simulators are intended only for viewing 3D content and the headset should be kept out of the sun.
